This is always a favorite for us, but recently we've been seeing that the quantity of the meat has gotten a tad bit smaller. Making sure the business owners know that we've noticed!
Came with a friend and enjoyed the KIMCHI JUN, MANDU and all you can eat option A. We chose the DAE PAE SAM KYUP SAL, BULGOGI and DAK GUI. Everything was wonderful! Our waitress was attentive and accommodating. The ambiance was classy and relaxed. I would definitely go back!
I LOVE this place! Always make a reservation because they get booked during busy times. They've got great cocktails and friendly bar service. I always come here for date night because the meats are amazing and I love that they come by to cook for you. I would recommend for adults, but I have seen kids come and enjoy their food as well. There's also a convenient pastry place right next door for desserts!
Spicy pork belly is really good! I like that you can order steamed egg and miso soup here to accompany your meal. Service was top notch, and the portions were very large. Staff members constantly stopped by to see how we were doing, and happily grilled our meat. At the end of the meal they bring you a nice, cold drink of sikhye. I will definitely be back!
My favorite Korean BBQ in centreville - especially for galbi. Their marinade is fantastic. They have an AYCE option and also allow you to choose if you want to cook yourself or have a server grill for you. Also very cute decor on the ceiling!
Recently my husband and I dined at Sō for a good Korean BBQ. We were originally thinking about going to Iron Age but to give another try to see the change. From overall experience, we enjoyed such quick service and great level of engagement from servers.
This was my second time trying Sō and it's a pretty good place to get AYCE kbbq. I personally usually don't prefer getting AYCE kbbq, but this is a pretty good place for that. It's a pretty large space inside, employees are mostly friendly. We came in at about 4:10PM and waited around ~20 minutes to be seated. Once it hit 5-6PM, the place started filling up quickly. I think our waitress was fairly new and she kept coming by and changing our grill heat settings even though we told her we'd grill on our own. Another waiter came by after awhile and started taking care of us, since we kept having to wait on our original waitress. Our table went with Option A and the quality of the meat is pretty good, really liked the garlic pork belly! The chadol beef brisket isn't the best, but still good nonetheless. Variety of side dishes was also nice, and their steamed egg is actually seasoned (some other kbbq places have really bland steamed egg). Overall, a nice option for AYCE kbbq.
We did a birthday lunch for my husband here today. Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant is clean and decorated contemporary. The glass divider between tables was nice from a privacy standpoint. My husband eats his money's worth but the server encouraged him to order one more time He opted not too, but I appreciated the sentiment. Meat was excellent. Bulgogi was my favorite and the rest of the meat was of good quality. I enjoy the before dinner dishes more than the meat only because I am not a carnivore. The couple of times we have visited it has been the pleasant experience.
